About Me

My name is Bo Jiang (姜波). I’m currently a research assistant in the Department of Computer Science at University of Southern California (USC). I’m working on Machine Learning in USC Melady Lab and supervised by Prof. Yan Liu.

Before that, I got my M.S. degree in Computer Science from USC in 2017 and I earned my B.E. degree in Information & Communication Engineering from Zhejiang University (ZJU) in 2015. Please refer to my CV for more information.

My primary research interest lies in the field of machine learning, data mining, and their applications on various topics, such as time series analysis, natural language processing, etc. Currently, I’m working on the following topics:

  • Multi-rate multivariate time series analysis (MR-MTS)
  • Medical time series annotation problem
  • Survival analysis
